New shared & WordPress hosting orders are fully refundable in the first 30 days.
Registry fees are non-recoverable the moment a domain is registered.
Full refund if requested before your VPS resources are provisioned.
The 1.5% gateway processing fee is never refunded, even on approved refunds.
Nobody likes reading the fine print on a refund page, so here's the short version: if hosting isn't working out for you in the first month, we'll give your money back — no interrogation about why. What follows explains exactly when that applies, what's excluded, and how to actually get the refund moving. This policy sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and covers every Service sold through HostyXo.
Buy a new shared hosting or WordPress hosting plan, and you've got 30 days to decide it's not for you. Reach out within that window and we'll refund the full hosting fee — the guarantee applies to your first purchase of a plan, not to renewals of an account you've already been running for months. A few conditions keep this fair for everyone:
VPS is a different situation from shared hosting — the moment we provision your virtual server, we've reserved real CPU, RAM and storage on a physical machine specifically for you, and that resource commitment isn't something we can undo. So a VPS order becomes non-refundable as soon as provisioning starts. If you change your mind before that happens — the order's sitting there, not yet spun up — just let us know and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
Here's something worth knowing before you click "register": once a domain name is submitted, it's sent straight to the registry (Verisign for .com, the relevant registry for other extensions) and the registration fee is gone from our side too — it's not money sitting in our account waiting to be returned, it's already paid out. This is standard across the domain industry, not a HostyXo-specific rule, and it holds even when the domain came free with a hosting plan. The practical takeaway: triple-check the spelling and extension before you complete a domain order, because there's no undo button once it's registered.
Quick reference — what's covered:
SSL certificates, licensed cPanel add-ons, and one-off services like site migration fall into the same category as domains, for the same reason: we've already paid a third party for them, or already done the work. Once an SSL cert is issued or a migration's been completed, there's no way for us to claw that cost back, so we can't pass a refund on to you for it either.
The small processing fee bKash charges on every transaction is a pass-through cost — it goes to bKash, not to us — so it stays non-refundable even on an order where the rest of the charge is refunded in full.
If something's wrong with a charge, please talk to us before disputing it with your bank or bKash directly — most issues get resolved faster through a support ticket than through a formal chargeback, and it saves everyone the paperwork. That said, if a chargeback is filed without giving us the chance to help first, we reserve the right to suspend the associated Service while it's investigated, and repeated unwarranted chargebacks may result in the account being closed.
Cancelling a Service is a self-serve action from your client area, any time — it stops the next renewal from being billed. On its own, though, cancelling doesn't refund whatever's already been charged for the current period unless you're still inside the 30-day window from Section 1. Downgrading to a smaller plan works the same way: it takes effect from your next renewal, and we don't prorate a refund for the difference on the current term.
