Almost every cookie we set just keeps your login and preferences working.
We don't run ad-network or cross-site tracking cookies on HostyXo.
Google Sign-In, Google Maps, and bKash set their own cookies when used.
Block or delete cookies any time from your browser settings.
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies HostyXo sets when you visit our site or use your client area, and why. It's a companion to our broader Privacy Policy, which covers what personal data we collect more generally.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It gets sent back to that site on your next visit, so the site can remember something about you: that you're logged in, which currency you picked, or that you already dismissed a banner. Cookies can't run programs on your device and can't read files elsewhere on your computer.
Everything HostyXo sets directly falls into one of two buckets:
Neither category is used for advertising, and we don't sell or share this data with ad networks. Server logs also record standard technical details like your IP address and browser type when you visit, which is covered in our Privacy Policy rather than repeated here.
A handful of features on HostyXo are provided by outside services, and those services set their own cookies under their own policies, not ours:
We don't control these cookies directly. Google's and bKash's own privacy policies explain what they collect and how it's used.
Login session cookies expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity, whichever comes first. Currency preference cookies last longer, generally up to a year, so you're not asked to reselect a currency every time you visit. Third-party cookies from Google or bKash follow whatever expiry those providers set.
Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies from its settings. Turning off essential cookies means the client area can't keep you logged in, and features like Google Sign-In or bKash checkout may stop working properly, but the rest of the public site will still load fine. If you'd rather not deal with browser settings for a single site, you can also use a private or incognito window, which clears cookies once you close it.
If the cookies we use change meaningfully, we'll update this page and adjust the date at the top. Check back occasionally if you want to stay current, especially before we add any new third-party integration to the site.
